Fillerina, which Labo has been working on since 2007 (the year the trademark was registered), is the first generation of filling and plumping treatments for at-home use: it works in such a way as to be presented as a cosmetic filling treatment for at-home use and to be applied externally.

The product name comes from the filling mechanism of skin depressions (saggings and wrinkles) thanks to the action of the main active ingredients: special Hyaluronic Acids in different forms for a different level of filling of the middle and deep skin tissues.

Similarly to the Hyaluronic Acid filling treatments used in aesthetic medicine, the aim of Fillerina is to allow large quantities of Hyaluronic Acid to penetrate deep into the cutaneous tissues (ex vivo tests). The Hyaluronic Acid, binding water, promotes the filling of skin tissues, thus giving volume, turgor and fullness. As skin ages, the amount of Hyaluronic Acid in the organism, and in particular in the skin, gradually decreases, causing imperfections such as cutaneous saggings, emptyings and loss of volume. These deficiencies can be visible in the eye contour area, thus causing the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and in particular on the outer corner, the so-called crow’s feet, loss of tone and density on the upper eyelids and the swelling on the lower area.
